Real Madrid suffered a shocking defeat in the semi-final of the Club World Cup last night, as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) advanced to the final in dominant fashion.
In the first half, PSG took complete control of the match, netting three goals. Midfielder Fabián Ruiz was the standout performer, scoring twice, while Ousmane Dembélé added a third.
Gonçalo Ramos sealed the victory late in the match with PSG’s fourth goal, securing a convincing 4–0 win over the Spanish giants. With this result, PSG will now face Chelsea in the final of the Club World Cup on Sunday.
Following the loss, some Real Madrid fans have blamed head coach Xabi Alonso for the team’s poor performance. On social media, many supporters criticized his formation and tactics, claiming they contributed heavily to the embarrassing defeat.
