Mohammed Kudus Set to Complete £55M Move to Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £55 million deal to sign West Ham’s electrifying Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, ending a 14 year transfer freeze between the London rivals.

The 24 year old is scheduled to undergo a medical on July 10, 2025, and will sign a six year contract, marking a major statement of intent from Spurs under newly appointed manager Thomas Frank.

Kudus initially joined West Ham from Ajax for £38 million in 2023 and impressed in his debut Premier League season with 14 goals and 9 assists across all competitions. However, his performance dipped last season, managing only five goals, following a reported fallout with former manager Julen Lopetegui and a five match suspension after receiving a red card in a 4-1 loss to Spurs.

Despite the setbacks, Kudus’ flair, creativity, and tactical versatility, whether playing on the right wing, as a No. 10, or a false nine, made him a priority signing for Frank, who is determined to rebuild the squad after a disappointing 17th place finish in the league.

This transfer signals a fresh chapter for both Kudus and Tottenham as they look ahead to a stronger campaign.
