In a significant development that has stirred widespread reactions, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reportedly banned Nigerians aged between 18 and 45 from applying for tourist visas. The restriction, which appears to have come into effect without prior public notice, has left many Nigerians especially students and young professionals frustrated and concerned.

This new policy targets Nigerians within the 18–45 age bracket, regardless of gender, background, or financial status. While official documentation or detailed clarification from UAE authorities is still awaited, multiple travel agencies and individuals have confirmed that tourist visa applications within this age group are being rejected without exception.
